The oil filter - with built on nut for easy removal with a socket & ratchet....
And the 'claw' which works like this.... the tighter you turn it, the harder the claws grab on to the oil filter cartridge casing...
These two have turned a SOB job into a 'nice one to do over a rum' job.
I've heard all sorts of stories of puncturing the filter casing with screwdrivers to get leverage etc...
